![]() Cumberland Falls in Kentucky is one of only two places that have a moonbow and the only place in the western hemisphere. On full moon nights if your lucky and the sky is clear the moon creates a faint rainbow in the mist rising from the falls. I got lucky two nights in a row. The top picture was Friday 10-06-2006. A thirty second expo hand held on top of a barrier post with cables running through it and shaking a little from the people around me leaning on the cables. The bottom picture was Saturday night 10-07-2006 with a more traditional tripod. Both nights were 30 second expos at around 11:15 pm. | |
